If a brother or a sister is naked and lacking daily food, and one of you say unto them, "Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled"; yet you do not give them those things which are needful to the body; what good is it?
      -James 2:15-16

For I was hungry and you gave me food, ... I was naked and you clothed me... then the righteous will answer him, "when did we see you naked and clothe thee?" And the King will answer them, "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."
       Matthew 25:35,36,38b,40

OATS relies on donations and on volunteers. Our volunteer program is designed to promote a caring environment that encourages a variety of activities and meaningful work assignments to enhance the lives of those we serve.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to use skills you already have as well as develop new ones. We have a variety of tasks that need willing hands and we make every effort to assign activities you prefer.

Our volunteers come to OATS for a variety of reasons: to enjoy fellowship, contribute their time and talents, and to help others.
